The blog about nothing.

This is the first semester I have felt like a Human Resources Management major, and it's also the first semester I feel like I actually have a really strong grasp on what it means to work in HRM. And what things I would potentially want to do in the field. I mean, I have had some loose ideas since I decided to change my major way back in 2010. But knowing now and knowing then. Whoa.

I consider last semester the worst semester in my college career(ever). Lucky for me, it was followed up by this semester. I'm having like a serious HRM nerd freak out this semester. I have my first night class (Organizational Behavior) this semester, and I thought I was going to be really annoyed about going to class for 3 hours on Monday nights. I was wrong. The initial going to campus, yes that's hard, but once I'm there. Whoa. Organizational Behavior is actually a class composed of all the weird things that interest me. Seriously, that's what it says in the course catalog.

With that being said, I feel like I've been really busy. I had my first exam of the semester today. I have lots of reading. I have an online class which requires self-motivation. I have work answering phones, recruiting like a champion, and  all the other random things my job requires. As busy as I have been, I still waste a lot of time. I am beginning to just accept this as part of who I am.

Hello, I'm Katie and I waste time. I would like to start blogging (more) regularly again, but I'm sure next Friday I'm going to post a blog that starts like this, "Dear readers, sorry for letting you down again and not blogging like a I promised."

Sometimes I feel like my blogs are just extended Facebook statuses that I decided not to post. So I just leave them in my brain, and they take on a life of their own in the form of my blog. Here, There, or Everywhere, Folks.
