Redefining Success

So I think it's safe to say that I've been pretty much failing my blog project (blog-ject?)
But maybe I haven't failed completely because I mean, I DID go to the zoo last week. :-)

That's not the point though. I've been really focused on school and life and stuff. I've had a really successful semester. I take that back..I'll tell you how successful it was after finals week. Just kidding. Regardless of what grades I get, I've learned a lot of important things, both for my professional life and personal life. If you will refer to the original bucket list, I think I may, MAY have made some serious progress on one of them....

17. Get better at pinpointing the important things in life.

Let's mark off the zoo, too.

8. Go to a Zoo

Well maybe #17 isn't completely marked off the list, but I've at least made progress.  There are lots of people in life yelling "You're doing it wrong!" and there are plenty of trolls that will try to get you down.  Yes, "trolls" is a link. No it's not spam. I promise.

Anyway, the point of this post was to say that maybe I've been slacking on my "bucket list", but I've been doing more important things like learning.  I didn't create this list to restrict myself but rather to engage myself in the goodness of life.  So as long as I'm moving in that direction, that is what I would call success.
