bumpin': I've been playing my piano a lot the past couple of days. So ya know..Mozart, Beethoven, and a few other less recognizable classical composers. I will expand on this thought in the "real" part of the blog because I know you all gloss over this because you don't care what music I listen to.
Hello readers! If you are here, that means you are loyal. I have been absolutely inconsistent in my blog writing. I will not make excuses because I have none, but let me tell you about my winter break.
It's been fabulous. When I'm not making the big bucks at work, I'm sleeping, reading, playing the piano, or playing mind numbing games on my Kindle. I'm OBSESSED with my Kindle. If you ever had the thought that you need an e-reader or a tablet, let me tell you, you need a Kindle.
I started working on my reading goal finally!! WOO! I read the Hunger Game series in 4 days so I feel like that counts as like 1 book. Right now I'm reading two books, but one I have already read and the other is "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland", which is shockingly (so far) exactly like the Disney portrayal. Granted I'm only 7% into it. So those probably count as like 1 book, too. I'm not getting too greedy with the numbers here because now that I have a Kindle, all I want to do is read.
One of my other fun/creative break activities is loosely related to a bucket list item. I have the goal of performing musically, in some way, in front of a crowd. Well, I haven't determined the medium in which this will be executed, but practicing any form of music is a step in the right direction towards this goal. So I told you I was playing classical music. This might seem strange because I don't regularly listen to classical music. I actually don't have a single "classical" song on my iPod or maybe even in my iTunes. It's completely different when I'm playing though. I have sheet music for "Popular" music, Praise & Worship, Movie themes, Christmas, and on and on, but my favorite thing to PLAY is definitely Classical. It's just better. It's fun. It's challenging. It's expressive.
I've provided a fun little picture of Mozart for you to gaze upon as you ponder my blog. I always have to have pictures on my blog so I can "pin" them on Pintrest.
Finally, I have been sleeping a TON over break. When I don't work in the morning, I sleep in entirely too late which has put me in a horrible sleep pattern. I can't sleep at night then I can't get up in the morning. When I can't sleep at night, I write blogs in my heads. I was blogging away in my head last night. Usually when I wake up the next day I do not blog about those things though. They are usually random. I try to be structured in my blogs. Try.
See the structure of this blog was the summary of my winter break. I said structured not interesting.
